Based in Amsterdam, a leading international manufacturer of wire and cable, Draka Holding NV consists of 60 operating companies in 25 countries. Draka’s portfolio consists of fiber, fiber optic cables and telecommunication cables as well as highly specialized cables for aerospace, automotive, oil and gas and elevator cables.

2004-2006 CEO & Chairman of Management Board
• Restructured debt and the company structure
• Introduced a total strategic plan, identifying needs and detailed implementation
• Expanded sales into western and eastern Europe, Pacific Rim, China and the Middle East

1984-1988 Fisher Scientific- Vice President & GM
• Responsible for the P&L of the operating group manufacturing & distribution of medical & scientific instruments internationally.

• Prestolite consisting of 3 divisions units, 16 operational companies
• Motors, electronics and wire & cable supplying to the transportations and material handling industries.

A supplier to the house ware industry consisting of 3 divisions and 4 operating companies.

1977 - 1980 Chester Wire & Cable division - General Manager
A cable manufacturer supplying to niche markets such as irrigation systems and military with a base of commodity products. After a turn around in 1980 the company was sold to Cable de Lyons (Alcatel).
