Draka’s portfolio consists of fiber, fiber optic cables and telecommunication cables as well as highly specialized cables for aerospace, automotive, oil and gas and elevator cables.

1984-1988 Fisher Scientific- Vice President & GM
• Responsible for the P&L of the operating group manufacturing & distribution of medical & scientific instruments internationally.

1981-1988 PrestoLite – Vice President of operations
• Prestolite consisting of 3 divisions units, 16 operational companies
• Motors, electronics and wire & cable supplying to the transportations and material handling industries.


1980 - 1982 Fesco division - Director of Manufacturing & Engineering
A supplier to the house ware industry consisting of 3 divisions and 4 operating companies.

1977 - 1980 Chester Wire & Cable division - General Manager
A cable manufacturer supplying to niche markets such as irrigation systems and military with a base of commodity products. After a turn around in 1980 the company was sold to Cable de Lyons (Alcatel).
